Everything is connected, mostly through glowing, leafy vines that stretch between things, with occasional pulses of glow or sparkles of data flowing along them. Really, the woodland is a collection of different types of woodlands, ranging from savanna banyons (large network centers) and Baobabs (large data banks) to northwestern cedars and redwoods, as well as jungle giants. Smaller deciduous trees represent smaller company datacenters and networks. All are just aspects of our digital reality, metaphors set in a simple style to ease understanding for technophobes and new denizens of the era. People show up as woodland creature-caricatures of their better selves (for the most part). Everything shows some sort of energy, information, or data transfer in some directional way. Food, water, and ephemeral sustenance represent resources like data, power, storage, etc.. Heavily green by default, the foliage of tallest of the trees create the "top" of this realm in the form of cloudlike foliage (representing the BIG Cloud networks like Amazon, Google, Oracle, Microsoft, etc), and there are still bright colors that shine out occasionally (like sparkly flowers that have the fragrance of knowledge). It is a beautiful place that is full of energy and wonder.
